sometimes we forget about history.
the history that occurred in past continues and affects the present.
in these days,
i watched a movie "SAD VACATION"
directed by Il-won Eu(어일원)
this movie wanted talk about the present of Lai Daihan
(what's lai taihan? <-click )
anyway
let's talk about the movie!
this girl's name is Chi.
her mother is Vietnam woman, and his father is Korean.
his father was left when she was a little girl.
and she's got a boyfriend.
his name is Seung-jin Yoon.
oneday, he just left her suddenly.
and here's another guy
Doo-il Lee
he was sent from Korea.
his mission is taking any Vietnam girl to Korea.
cuz one of Korean old guy wanted his Lai Taihan daughter back.
but too long time passed, nobody can identify who's his daughter.
so Doo-il Lee wanted any Vietnam girl, becuz of money.
but there's some accident,
so they trip together.
that is the main story.
he is a guide.
he helped Doo-il Lee finding out Chi.
maybe i think he ain't got no good emotion to Korean.
cuz he knows about Lai Daihan's life.
this movie shows the real life of Lai Daihan,
& their feeling against Koreans.
sometimes it seems
most of Koreans forgot about Vietnam war.
no, they remember only that their military fought against the vietkong.
but i think they have to remember Lai Daihan.
i hope.
